| Annotation |
Wendy Kann, a resident of Connecticut, grew up in Africa in what is now Zimbabse. She was compelled to revisit her colonial past by the death of her youngest sister, Lauren, who was still living in Africa. As a white child living a privileged life in the midst of violent racial conflict, she witnessed the fall of British rule from a perspective that now seems dangerously naive. Some violence.
